About Ruud
Ruud Hendriks is currently Co-Founder and Co-CEO of R/A Wealth Advisors, where he advises Ultra High Net Worth Individuals on strategic asset allocation. He also serves as Senior Partner at MetisBrown, a high-end executive search boutique, and acts as Senior Advisor to a Swiss private bank and Add value (a stock listed investment fund). With over 35 years in the asset management industry, Ruud has built a reputation as a seasoned professional with a global perspective and deep industry expertise.
Following his retirement from Goldman Sachs Asset Management in 2009—where he served as Managing Director and later Co-Head for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa—he continued to play influential roles as a Senior Advisor to institutions such as Lombard Odier, KKR, Achmea Investment Management, and Citi. He also served on the board of Man Group, a global leader in alternative investments, and chaired the advisory board of another executive search firm.
Earlier in his career, Ruud was a key executive at Rodamco and later Robeco Group, where he was Global Head of Institutional Business.
He holds a Master’s degree in Private Law from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (1972) and is currently based in Dubai. Known for his proactive approach, extensive global network, and deep knowledge of the financial industry, Ruud continues to shape investment thinking at the highest levels.
