What a compliment and natural evolvement it is to partner with Adnan, to combine our experience, knowledge and passion for talented, authentic and ambitious people. The variation of both our network and skillset will attract divers talent as well as the key players of todays and future executive environment.
In this combination, strengthened together as professionals, acting flexible and knowledgeable to the way we believe executive search is developing, we expect to have a true competitive advantage in the challenging new reality, we live in.
Astrid developed and matured in her career gracefully and with integrity. From the start of her working-live she realized that it is important to stay challenged intellectually as well as professionally. The motto “adapt, adopt and improve” turned out to be the right attitude for her. Her empathic character, strategic network and insights together with her determination, courage and problem-solving attitude make her stand out in the crowd.
After a start in the world of ports and shipping, developing the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam as a first job, the world of finance was next. First commodity trading in Rotterdam followed by an international corporate career in Investment Banking (JPMorgan) London & NY. Entrepreneurship and motherhood in the Netherlands were the next challenges she embraced. With Corporate Casting an executive search boutique, her true talent was revealed. The puzzle not only to search, but also to find and judge the right talent fitted for the role turned out to be a true passion. A win-win for all involved. Sisterhood is a given, therefor matching and coaching talented, ambitious women into executive roles is a second nature. Resilience she showed after the passing of her husband, as founder of the startup ‘Widows & Widowers’ a community and navigation system for widows, widowers and next of kin to get back in control and to embrace life again.
Her own leadership is seen in her various roles to enhanced female empowerment for example the last three years as Chair of the Dutch Women’s Council established in 1898, the most pronounced, including the involvement of the annual presentation of the UN Dutch Female representatives (since 1947)
Looking forward to this new adventure and the encounters to follow. Up to the next trade.
